NTR plc announces sale of Medebridge Solar Farm
NTR, a leading sustainable infrastructure investor and asset manager, is pleased to announce the sale of the Medebridge Solar Farm, a 70MWp solar farm located on the outskirts of London, in Essex. The project was sold to clean energy solutions company, Enviromena.
NTR plc directly acquired the project in late 2022 as a development asset and has since completed its development, bringing it to its current ready to build status. NTR also negotiated a Corporate PPA with an invesetment-grade counterparty, securing additional value for the project.
Anthony Doherty, Chief Investment Officer at NTR, said: “While we have extensive expertise as asset managers of investment funds, when the opportunity arises, NTR also leverages its development expertise – as is the case with the Medebridge project. This is a great example of the value-add that the NTR team can generate in terms of developing and optimising a project and securing an investment grade, long term Corporate PPA. We are delighted to have worked with Enviromena on this develop and sell opportunity”.
