NTR Appoints Roger Pim as Managing Director, Strategy and Capital Formation

Dublin, 2nd September 2025:

NTR, a leading sustainable infrastructure investor and asset manager, is pleased to announce the appointment of Roger Pim as Managing Director, Strategy and Capital Formation.

In this new role, Roger will lead NTR’s capital raising strategy, strengthening relationships with global investors and partners, as the business continues to support Europe’s ambitious decarbonisation and energy security agenda. He will join NTR’s Management Board and work closely with the senior leadership team to continue driving the business forward, building on the ongoing strong appetite for investment in the clean energy transition across Europe and the UK.

Roger brings a wealth of experience to the role, having held a number of senior investment and capital raising positions focused on infrastructure and private markets over the past 25 years.

Most recently, Roger was a Senior Director and member of the leadership team of Aberdeen Group’s  infrastructure business which he helped set up, with responsibility for strategy and business development in addition to investment and asset management. During this time, he was involved in raising significant levels of capital for both Funds and managed accounts from a broad range of institutional investors and has overseen investments across the energy (renewables, district heating and conventional power), transportation and digital infrastructure sectors across Europe.

From 2007 to 2017 Roger was a founding Partner and subsequently joint Managing Partner of SL Capital, Standard Life’s private markets division focused on private equity, infrastructure and private debt.

Roger started his career at Goldman Sachs in London in the corporate finance and M&A team and holds a MA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from the University of Edinburgh.

Commenting on the appointment, Rosheen McGuckian, CEO of NTR, said:

“We are delighted to welcome Roger at this senior level to our growing team. Roger brings a wealth of experience across private markets and infrastructure investment to NTR, and his expertise will be instrumental as we continue to drive the energy transition across Europe. His deep understanding of investor needs and strong track record in capital formation will be invaluable in delivering long-term value for our investors.”
