NTR finalises NTR REIF II Fund portfolio with 46 MW Momerstroff wind portfolio acquisition in France

The existing five turbine wind portfolio situated in the Department of Moselle, Grand Est region of France, will triple in size to a 15 turbine portfolio and contribute towards the French Government’s push to accelerate the use of renewable energy

Dublin, 2 February, 2023: NTR, a leading sustainable infrastructure investor and asset manager, has successfully completed its final acquisition for NTR Renewable Energy Income Fund II – the 46 MW Momerstroff wind portfolio in the Grand Est region of France. The portfolio was acquired from ecoJoule GmbH and eolec SAS, members of the German developer deanGruppe.

NTR PLC to equip all of its wind farms in Europe with the EPSILINE WindEagle solution

Dublin, 31 January, 2023:  NTR PLC, a leading sustainable infrastructure investor and asset manager, has chosen the WindEagle solution for deployment on all its wind farms in Europe. This follows successful “proof of concept” testing in France and Ireland, which demonstrated the high potential value of the equipment and the analysis capability of Epsiline. As a result, the WindEagle solution is now being deployed on NTR’s wind farms in Ireland, UK, Italy, Sweden and Finland, with a view to monitoring and optimising the entire fleet.

Dublin, November 16, 2022: NTR, a leading sustainable infrastructure investor and asset manager, today announced that it has achieved commercial operation on schedule at its 86MW Norra Vedbo onshore wind farm located in the SE3 energy price region in southern Sweden. The €115m project is supported by a co-investment from Reichmuth Infrastructure Fund alongside the NTR REIF II Fund, while Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB (SEB) provided debt financing.

Irish Bank AIB announces agreement with NTR to buy energy from two new solar farms, providing 80% of AIB’s energy requirements

Solar farms will provide 21.4 GWh of new renewable energy to Irish grid, helping power AIB’s retail and office network of over 270 properties

Dublin, October 17, 2022: NTR has signed a Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (CPPA) with Irish banking group AIB to source energy generated from two solar farms NTR will construct in County Wexford. AIB is the first Irish company to conclude such an agreement, helping it deliver on its commitment to source 100% of its power requirements from certified renewable energy sources by 2030.
