NTR Completes €370 Million Refinance of 220MW Wind Portfolio

Dublin, 26 August, 2020: NTR announces that it has successfully completed a €370 million portfolio refinance of a 220 MW onshore wind portfolio for its NTR Wind 1 LP fund. The fund was established by NTR to construct and operate onshore wind projects availing of the attractive REFIT (Ireland) and ROC (UK) long-term supports. With all projects in the fund now in operation from earlier this year, NTR availed of the opportunity to replace the existing individual project financing packages with a highly competitive and flexible portfolio refinance.

NTR Signs PPA as Part of Financing of Swedish Wind Project

Dublin, 3 February 2020: NTR has signed a power purchase agreement (“PPA”), with a European utility as part of its financing of 94MW of wind projects in Sweden and Finland. The utility will offtake 70% of the power generated over the next 15 years by Trattberget, a 69MW wind project in the portfolio. The power produced by the remaining two projects will continue to avail of existing revenue arrangements. An existing offtake arrangement is in place with an industrial pulp mill for the 10MW Skutskär project in Sweden and the 15MW Svalskulla wind project avails of the Finnish feed-in-tariff system.

NTR Fund Acquires 19.2MW Ballycumber Wind Farm in Ireland Increasing its Portfolio to 515MW

Dublin, 9 January, 2020: NTR has added a further 19.2MW to its renewable energy platform through the acquisition of Ballycumber wind farm, located in Co. Wicklow, Ireland. The project was acquired by the NTR Renewable Energy Income Fund II, a wind, solar and energy storage fund that operates in a number of European markets. The project, which comprises six Siemens turbines, went into operation in 2019 and is one of the last remaining wind projects to avail of the Irish REFIT tariff.

NTR and Nord/LB Close Two Further Project Financings For A Combined €45 million

Dublin, September 17, 2019: NTR plc today announces that it has attracted commitments of €229 million for the NTR Renewable Energy Income Fund II, of which €145 million has been secured for the fund’s first close. The fund is targeting €500 million and will invest in both pre-construction and operational onshore wind and solar projects across a number of European markets, together with energy storage that is associated with the wind and solar projects owned by the fund.
