Based in the American Midwest, Wind Capital Group is quickly becoming a leading wind developer in the United States. Wind Capital Group has developed and constructed the only four operational wind farms in the State of Missouri, totalling 162 megawatts (MW).
The Company has developed an ambitious pipeline of wind farm projects in 16 states across the central United States, with a development pipeline of over 2700 MW. The company developed America’s first 100% wind-powered community in Rock Port, Missouri.
In April 2008 NTR announced that it was investing $150m in Wind Capital Group. NTR’s investment will support the growth of the Wind Capital Group from a regional developer to a major national player in the US wind energy market.
