Greenstar employs over 2,000 across almost 40 facilities and has a collection fleet size of over 700 vehicles, providing collection services to 24 Local Authorities, hundreds of corporate customers and 1.1 million homes. Greenstar offers a wide range of services, from complete waste management solutions, through to accredited dry recycling, reprocessing and exporting facilities. Greenstar’s Recycle 1st scheme is one of the largest fully-approved compliance schemes in the UK. Greenstar also advises clients on best practice in relation to recycling and waste minimisation, as well as providing a range of education and awareness services. Greenstar offers a complete WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) compliance service for manufacturers, retailers/resellers and importers.
Greenstar’s MRF (Materials Recovery Facility) facility in Aldridge is the largest MRF in the UK and its facility in WES is the first bottle to bottle plant.
