Suncatchers are producing electricity at a plant in Arizona in the first commercial-scale project for the concentrating solar power technology. Not only are the project owner and customer watching, but the national lab that helped support its development and component suppliers are curious as the companies that developed the technology are preparing to scale up later this year.
