Matt Delnick - Chief Executive Officer, Greenstar North America
Matt Delnick is the Chief Executive Officer of Greenstar North America. In this role he is responsible for the overall strategic direction, operations and long-term growth of the company. Matt joined Greenstar in 2008 as Chief Financial Officer and was responsible for Finance, Corporate and Business Development, Human Resources and Information Technology. In 2010 he was promoted to Chief Executive Officer. Previous to joining Greenstar, Matt was Vice President of Finance at LaFarge North America, the largest diversified supplier of construction materials in the US and Canada. In his time at Lafarge, Matt led the Financial Service Center for North American operations which had revenue of $7 billion. Prior to joining Lafarge, Matt spent time with large organizations in the retail and service sectors with a majority of that time spent with Enterprise Rent-A-Car in multiple operating groups throughout the US in the areas of finance, risk management, and human resources.
Todd Becker - President, Chief Executive Officer & Director, Green Plains Renewable Energy
Todd Becker serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Green Plains Renewable Energy, Inc. effective January 2009, and was appointed as a Director on March 10, 2009. Mr. Becker served as the Company’s President and Chief Operating Officer from the closing of the VBV merger on October 15, 2008 to December 31, 2008. Mr. Becker had served as Chief Executive Officer of VBV since May 2007. Mr. Becker was Executive Vice President of Sales and Trading at Global Ethanol from May 2006 to May 2007. He had responsibility for setting up the commercial operations of the company. Prior to that, Mr. Becker worked for ten years with ConAgra Foods in various management positions including Vice President of International Marketing for ConAgra Trade Group and President of ConAgra Grain Canada. He has over 20 years of related experience in various commodity processing businesses, risk management and supply chain management. In addition, he has extensive international trading experience in agricultural markets. Mr. Becker has a Masters degree in Finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a Finance emphasis from the University of Kansas.
Tom Carnahan - President and CEO, Wind Capital Group
Tom Carnahan is the founder and president of Wind Capital Group. In 2005, seeing a clear need for alternative energy source development in his home state of Missouri, he drew upon his background in law, politics, development, and farm management and partnered with Missouri farmers and rural electric cooperatives to develop the state’s first wind farm. Since then, Wind Capital Group has become one of the fastest growing wind developers in the country.
Mr. Carnahan is actively involved in growing not only Wind Capital Group, but the wind energy industry as a whole. He serves on the American Wind Energy Association Legislative and Policy Committee and is a regular and enthusiastic spokesman for wind energy.
Mr. Carnahan has a B.A. degree from William Jewell College and a juris doctorate from the University of Missouri School of Law.
Steve Cowman - Chief Executive Officer, Stirling Energy Systems Inc.
Steve brings international experience to Stirling Energy Systems having worked in North America, Ireland, Europe and Asia in the Electronics, Electrical Systems and Recycling Industries for the past 25 years.
Prior to joining Stirling Energy Systems, Steve was Chief Executive of Greenstar Ireland, Ireland’s leading Recycling and Bioenergy company. Prior to that, Steve held numerous senior management positions such as, Technical Development Manager with Enterprise Ireland, Operations Manager with General Electric, Engineering & Development Manager with General Electric, Marketing Director with Harris Corporation, Divisional General Manager with Harris Corporation, Senior Vice President of Marketing and New Product Development with General Semiconductor, Vice President and General Manager with Vishay Intertechnology, and President and European Managing Director with Volex Europe.
Steve is a Graduate Engineer with a Masters Degree in Engineering from Sheffield University and a Masters Degree in Management Science from Trinity College Dublin.
Mark Driver - Managing Director, Celtic Anglian Water
Mark Driver was appointed Managing Director in 2008, and has over 20 years experience in the water industry. Mark joined CAW in 2000 as Operations Director and was more recently appointed Managing Director. Mark is a Chartered Biologist and MBA. Before joining CAW, Mark worked for the Anglian Water Group in Norway, Ireland and UK, in various operational management roles.
Kyran Hurley - Managing Director, National Toll Roads
Kyran Hurley is the Managing Director of National Toll Roads Limited. Kyran joined NTR in 2004 from Bord na Mona plc, a commercial state company with businesses in fuels, horticulture and environment services. In Bord na Mona Kyran held the position of Director of Corporate Development and previously was Chief Executive of Bord na Mona Fuels Limited and of Bord na Mona Environmental Limited. Prior to that Kyran was Contract Manager at Ascon, a civil engineering contractor, currently part of the BAM Group. Kyran holds BE Civil from UCC and MBA from UCD.
Bob Lukefahr - Chief Executive Officer, Tessera Solar North America
As CEO of Tessera Solar North America, Bob Lukefahr is responsible for all aspects of the North American development business which will develop, own and operate grid-scale solar facilities using Stirling Energy Systems (SES) groundbreaking SunCatcher™ Power System. Bob will drive the completion of the two existing projects with California utilities San Diego Gas & Electric and Southern California Edison of up to 1,750 MW, with a goal of developing 1,000 MW of new solar plants by the end of 2012
Prior to joining Tessera Solar, Bob was President of BP Global Wind Energy / BP Power Americas. Bob created BP’s U.S. Wind Energy business in 2006 and built it to become one of the largest wind developers in the US. Under Bob’s leadership, BP’s US wind business installed over 1,000 MW of assets in the past two years and developed a pipeline of 20,000 MW of projects in development. He also served as a member of the Board of Directors for the American Wind Energy Association. Prior to joining BP, Bob was a partner in the energy practice at Booz & Company, a leading strategy consulting firm. Bob holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Rosheen McGuckian - Acting CEO Tessera Solar International
Rosheen joined NTR in September 2008 with responsibility for Group Strategy, Business Development and Corporate Affairs. Rosheen was most recently Chief Executive Officer of GE Money Ireland, the consumer finance division of General Electric. She joined GE in 2002 as Director of PR and Communications for GE Consumer Finance Europe, with particular focus on acquisitions, regulatory affairs and rebranding. Prior to joining GE, Rosheen led the business transformation initiative for Irish utility ESB Power Generation. Before holding this role, she acted as a communications consultant for 13 years. Rosheen is a Director of the Irish Aviation Authority and holds a PhD, MA and BSc.
Neil Parkinson - Chief Executive Officer, Greenstar Ireland
Neil Parkinson was appointed CEO of Greenstar (Ireland) in June 2008. Before taking up his new role, Neil was CEO of Irish Broadband, NTR’s wireless broadband business, which was merged with Imagine Communications group in May 2008. He has previously held the positions of Chairman, Chief Executive and Chief Financial Officer of Esat Group. Esat Group was the leading alternate telecommunication operator to the incumbent in the Republic of Ireland. The Esat Group was acquired by BT Group in 2000 for US$2.4 billion.
Neil holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Dublin and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
Ian Wakelin - Chief Executive Officer, Greenstar UK
Ian Wakelin is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of Greenstar UK. NTR acquired a majority stake in Greenstar UK in 2003 and since then it has grown to become one of the UK’s largest recycling led waste management companies. Ian qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1987 whilst working for Arthur Andersen & Co. After leaving Arthur Andersen, Ian became Finance Director and subsequently Managing Director of UK Waste Ltd the UK’s largest waste company and a subsidiary of Waste Management Inc. Ian has been involved in the European waste and recycling industry since the late eighties and together with his co-founders has grown Greenstar UK to become one of the UK’s most respected recycling organisations.
Mike Wynne - Chief Executive Officer Recycling Division, NTR plc
Mike joined NTR in 2001 as CEO of Greenstar Ireland and was subsequently involved in the development of all Greenstar Group businesses in Ireland, the UK and North America. In 2009, Mike was appointed Chief Executive of NTR’s Recycling Division with responsibility for the development of all three Greenstar businesses. In addition, Mike is Chair of the Greenstar Boards, with particular responsibility for providing management support and oversight of activities across the three businesses.
Prior to NTR, Mike spent many years at Board level in a number of UK businesses, including Chief Executive of Waste Management Inc’s UK and Ireland businesses.
