Dublin, March 7, 2022 : NTR has acquired Murley, a 21.6 MW wind project, located in Co. Tyrone, N. Ireland, from RES bringing its presence in the all-island I-SEM market to c. 200 MW across 26 locations. The six-turbine project is due to commence construction in 2022 and produce clean power from winter 2023. The project is expected to produce enough clean energy to power over 20,000 homes.
Transaction marks NTR’s entrance into the Italian clean energy market
Dublin, February 7, 2022: NTR, a leading European sustainable infrastructure investor and asset manager, announces the acquisition of the 18 MW Arlena-Tessenano wind farms from BayWa r.e on behalf of NTR Renewable Energy Income Fund II, marking NTR’s entrance into the Italian market and sixth European market in which NTR manages clean energy projects.
Read moreDublin, December 2021: NTR battery storage projects have secured ten-year contracts for the supply of grid capacity for the Irish grid system in the capacity auction announced by grid operators Eirgrid and SONI in December 2021. The two projects located in Co. Wexford, Ireland, are amongst only eleven battery projects to be successful in the auction providing 5% of the grid’s capacity requirements. As an emerging clean energy technology, NTR’s battery storage projects are at the vanguard of providing a clean energy alternative to ensuring generation capacity is sufficient to meet demand.
